INCUBATOR PLOT TOUR
Meet at Montrose Pavilion, walk to Montrose Botanical Gardens

Join Valley Food Partnership and the Montrose Botanical Gardens on a tour of their Incubator Garden Plot.  This garden is used by the Cultivating Farmers and Ranchers that Thrive Program to help beginning farmers and ranchers access land and water while they develop their ag businesses. This tour is open to anyone interested in learning about community collaborations and local agriculture.

Farmers and Ranchers interested in accepting SNAP benefits can sign up and avoid the lengthy four-week approval process. If you are interested in attending, please email info@marketlink.org or call 1-833-372-9489 for more information.

CLEANING AND SANITIZING ON THE FARM
Montrose Pavilion Kitchen

Colorado Produce Safety Collaborative trainers will lead growers through a hands-on workshop showcasing cleaning methods, surfactants, choosing and using sanitizers, and ATP testing methods. This is a FREE training with funding from the National Institute of Food and Agriculture, but to ensure there are materials for each participant, REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.
